Зубний наліт
Change tooth color
Ceramic veneers make it possible to change tooth color in cases where whitening does not provide the desired result or when there is persistent enamel discoloration. Veneers allow you to achieve an even, bright, and natural tooth color.
Improve tooth shape
If teeth have an irregular shape, different lengths, or look disproportionate, veneers can change the tooth shape and make the smile more harmonious.
Close gaps between teeth
Veneers can close gaps between teeth without orthodontic treatment and create an even, aesthetic dental arch.
Restore worn teeth
In cases of tooth wear, veneers help restore tooth length, anatomical shape, and proper smile proportions.
Create harmony between the smile and face
During veneer planning, facial proportions, lip position, and bite are taken into account, allowing for a natural, harmonious, and aesthetic smile.

Consultation and diagnostics
The doctor performs an examination, photo protocol, bite analysis, and assessment of facial proportions. The patient’s wishes regarding the shape, color, and future smile are discussed. At this stage, the overall treatment concept is created with function and aesthetics in mind.
Digital Smile Design
A digital design of the future smile is created using DSD technology. This makes it possible to plan the shape, length, and proportions of the teeth in advance, according to facial features and the patient’s preferences.
Try-in and temporary veneers
Based on the digital modeling, a mock-up is made — a temporary model of the future teeth that the patient can see and “try on” in the mouth before treatment begins. Temporary veneers are then placed so the patient can evaluate the shape, length, and comfort in everyday life.
Minimal tooth preparation
Preparation is performed minimally, within the enamel, according to the approved mock-up. The procedure is performed under a microscope, ensuring maximum precision and preservation of healthy tooth tissue.
Veneer fabrication
After tooth preparation, digital scanning is performed, and the veneers are made in a modern digital dental laboratory. This ensures high precision, natural aesthetics, and an ideal fit.
Veneer bonding
Veneers are bonded under a microscope using a rubber dam, ensuring sterility, dryness, and maximum bonding quality. This is one of the most important stages, directly affecting the durability and aesthetics of the veneers.

Ceramic Veneers
Ceramic veneers are the most popular tool in cosmetic dentistry, delivering predictable and long-lasting results. Patients who want to change the look of their smile consider veneers an optimal solution, but don't know where to start or how much it will cost. DDC Clinic offers veneer placement in Kyiv, after which the smile becomes harmonious and looks natural, improving the overall perception of the face.
Ceramic veneers allow you to correct the color, shape, or irregularities of teeth, and close gaps between them. Our clinic uses digital modeling, so patients can see the result before treatment even begins. Ceramic dental veneers correct enamel color when whitening hasn't given the desired result, and correct the shape, size, and contour of teeth. This cosmetic dentistry method visually enhances the smile and gives teeth an attractive appearance.
Ceramic veneers — what they are and when they're placed
Veneers are thin ceramic shells placed on the front surface of a tooth. Ceramic veneers look maximally natural because this material reflects light almost like living tooth tissue. When placing the microprosthetics, the enamel is minimally prepared. Modern ceramic veneers are durable and resistant to staining.
Indications for veneer placement include:
- deteriorated enamel color;
- changes in tooth shape and size;
- minor irregularities and gaps between teeth;
- worn teeth;
- old fillings that have lost their aesthetic appearance.
If enamel whitening doesn't give the desired result, the dentist recommends veneer placement. Thanks to the thin shells, teeth acquire a uniform, light, and natural color. Veneers can correct an irregular tooth shape and close gaps. In cases of worn teeth, length and anatomical shape are restored.
At DDC Clinic, planning takes into account the patient's individual characteristics: facial proportions, bite, and lip position. Thanks to the latest digital modeling technologies, it's possible to achieve a maximally harmonious and aesthetic smile.
Veneers in prosthetic dentistry — materials and types
Veneers can make teeth whiter and more even without complex orthopedic treatment. The price of veneers in Kyiv depends on the material they're made from. Composite veneer placement is a direct restoration — the shells are made from filling composites in the dentist's chair in a single visit. Their drawback is a short service life, whereas ceramic veneers are far more durable and resistant.
The main types of materials used to make veneers:
- feldspathic ceramic;
- pressed ceramic;
- zirconium dioxide.
Types of veneers differ in thickness, aesthetics, and indications.
Feldspathic material stands out for its high aesthetics, translucency, and natural sheen. Feldspathic ceramic is made from minerals — quartz, kaolin, and feldspar — which make it possible to produce extremely thin shells. They're recommended for placement on front teeth. The material can't withstand high loads, which can cause it to chip or wear down.
Pressed ceramic is made by hot-pressing ceramic mass under high pressure and temperature. This strong and aesthetic material is visually identical to tooth enamel and durable (lasting up to 15 years). Very thin prosthetics that require minimal tooth reduction are made from pressed ceramic.
Zirconium dioxide is ultra-strong, biocompatible, and durable. Compared to pressed ceramic, this material is less translucent, but extremely thin shells can be made from zirconium dioxide.
Veneer placement in Kyiv — stages of the procedure
The process of placing ceramic veneers consists of the following sequential steps:
- Consultation. The dentist performs an examination, creates a photo protocol, and analyzes the bite and facial proportions. The patient's wishes regarding color and shape are discussed.
- Creating a digital model for smile planning. This guarantees a predictable result.
- Making temporary shells. By placing temporary microprosthetics, the patient can assess their comfort and aesthetics.
- Tooth preparation. Minimal enamel reduction is performed under a microscope for high precision and preservation of tooth tissue.
- Making the veneers in the lab. A digital scan is taken of the prepared teeth. This ensures a perfect fit for the veneers.
- Fitting and bonding. At this stage, a rubber dam is used to keep the working area dry, and the veneers are bonded under a microscope.
The entire process takes one to three weeks. At least 3 visits are required — consultation, modeling and preparation, and bonding. The patient doesn't feel pain during the procedures, as preparation is performed under local anesthesia. During the adaptation period, there is sometimes temporary tooth sensitivity, a sensation of a foreign object in the mouth, and discomfort while chewing. This goes away after 7-10 days.
Dental veneers — how to care for them and how long they last
Proper care of ceramic veneers significantly affects the longevity of the result. The expected service life of the microprosthetics is 10-15 years. To maximize this lifespan, it's necessary to follow daily hygiene rules and avoid excessive loads.
How to care for dental veneers:
- brush your teeth twice a day with a soft brush and non-abrasive paste;
- daily use of dental floss and an oral irrigator will help protect the edges of the veneers and gums;
- get professional teeth cleaning once every six months;
- don't bite hard foods or chew sticky foods;
- use a protective mouthguard if you have bruxism.
Regular dental check-ups allow timely detection of the deterioration of the bonding cement or cavities in adjacent teeth, and address problems at an early stage. It's important to monitor gum condition and prevent them from weakening. If there's a risk of tooth injury, using a mouthguard for impact protection is mandatory.
