The patient wanted an even, bright, and natural-looking smile, but it was also important to restore the correct tooth shape, chewing function, and bite.

Problem: Due to an incorrect bite, crowded teeth, and partially worn edges of the front teeth, the smile looked disharmonious, and the teeth were gradually wearing down.
Solution: We proposed comprehensive treatment that included an orthodontic stage, bite restoration, and placement of ceramic veneers and overlays. As a result, we achieved a bright and healthy smile.

Comprehensive diagnostics
We performed full diagnostics: examination, photo protocol, digital dental scans, computed tomography, bite analysis, and assessment of the chewing muscles and joints. This allowed us to determine the cause of tooth wear and create a correct and safe treatment plan.
Wisdom tooth extraction
Atraumatic wisdom tooth extraction was performed using a piezotome to create space for proper tooth movement during orthodontic treatment.
Orthodontic treatment with braces
The patient underwent orthodontic treatment with braces. At this stage, we aligned the teeth, prepared the correct tooth position for future restorations, and created the foundation for a proper bite.
Future smile design
After completing orthodontic treatment, digital smile planning was performed. We designed the future shape, length, proportions, and position of the teeth, taking into account the face, lips, and bite. The patient was able to see the future result before prosthetic treatment began.
Placement of temporary veneers and overlays
During the adaptation period to the new bite, while the patient was wearing temporary veneers and overlays, we monitored joint function, chewing muscle balance, and comfort while chewing. This is a very important stage before placing permanent ceramic restorations.
Placement of ceramic veneers and overlays
After the adaptation stage, permanent ceramic restorations were fabricated in a digital dental laboratory according to the patient’s preferences. The ceramic veneers and overlays were bonded under a microscope with precise control of the bite, chewing muscle balance, and chewing comfort.
