The patient came to our clinic with complaints about a gap between the upper and lower front teeth, old composite restorations on the front teeth, worn side teeth, and caries on the chewing teeth.

Problem: There was a gap between the front teeth, and the old composite restorations looked unaesthetic and differed in color. The side teeth were partially worn, and some teeth had caries.
Solution: We carried out comprehensive treatment: treated the chewing teeth, restored the proper bite height, created a new smile design, and placed ceramic veneers on the front teeth and ceramic crowns on the chewing teeth. As a result, we achieved a natural and harmonious smile.

Comprehensive diagnostics
We performed full diagnostics: examination, photo protocol, digital dental scans, computed tomography, bite analysis, and assessment of the chewing muscles and joints. This allowed us to determine the cause of tooth wear and create a correct and safe treatment plan.
Determining the correct jaw position
We determined the correct position of the lower jaw and restored the proper bite height so that the future restorations would function correctly and remain long-lasting.
Digital modeling of the future smile
Digital smile planning was performed according to the Digital Smile Design concept. We designed the future tooth shape, closed the gap, and selected tooth proportions taking into account the face and bite. The patient was able to see the future smile before treatment began.
Placement of temporary crowns and veneers
Temporary crowns and veneers were placed so the patient could adapt to the new tooth shape and new bite. At this stage, we checked chewing comfort, aesthetics, joint function, and the work of the chewing muscles.
Placement of ceramic crowns and veneers
After the adaptation stage, permanent ceramic restorations were fabricated in a digital dental laboratory according to the patient’s preferences. The veneers and ceramic crowns were bonded under a microscope with precise control of the bite, function, and aesthetics.
