Ceramic Crowns and Veneers
Запит пацієнта
Client request: I am concerned about headaches, tension in my jaw, and tooth wear. I want to restore my teeth and stop the pain.
Problem: The teeth were worn down, the bite height was reduced, and the old composite restorations had worn out and started to chip. Due to the incorrect bite, the chewing muscles and joints were overloaded, causing headaches and muscle pain.
Solution: Comprehensive gnathological and prosthetic treatment was performed, after which the teeth were restored with ceramic crowns and veneers. As a result, we restored the correct bite, chewing function, and smile aesthetics.

Comprehensive diagnostics
We performed full diagnostics: examination, photo protocol, digital dental scans, computed tomography, bite analysis, and assessment of the chewing muscles and joints. This allowed us to identify the cause of the pain, tooth wear, and reduced bite height, and to create a proper treatment plan.
Revision of old composite restorations
The old composite restorations were removed because they had worn out and could no longer restore the correct tooth height. One tooth that could not be treated was extracted, and an implant was placed immediately to preserve the bone tissue.
Determining the correct jaw position
Using special techniques, we determined the correct position of the lower jaw, in which the joints and chewing muscles work properly and without overload.
Adaptation with a joint splint
The patient wore an individual joint splint that relaxes the chewing muscles, reduces the load on the joint, and helps find a stable jaw position. After wearing the splint, we confirmed that the muscles had relaxed, the headaches had decreased, and the patient had adapted to the correct jaw position.
Digital treatment planning
We created a digital model of the future teeth and determined the correct bite height, tooth shape, and future smile before prosthetic treatment began.
Placement of temporary crowns and veneers
Temporary crowns were placed so the patient could adapt to the new bite height. At this stage, we monitored comfort, chewing, and the function of the muscles and joints.
Placement of ceramic crowns and veneers
After adaptation, permanent ceramic crowns for the chewing teeth and ceramic veneers for the front teeth were fabricated in a digital dental laboratory. The restorations were bonded under a microscope with control of the bite, chewing muscle balance, and chewing comfort.

Patient testimonial

For a long time, I did not understand what was happening to me.
At night, as it turned out, I was grinding my teeth very hard, and in the morning I would wake up feeling as if I had been clenching my jaw all night. My head hurt, my chewing muscles hurt, and sometimes it was even difficult to open my mouth.
My teeth were wearing down, and the old fillings kept chipping, but I did not think the problem was that serious.
As soon as I started wearing the splint, I felt better immediately. Nothing hurt — it felt as if I had been born again!
Now I wake up without headaches, there is no tension in my jaw, chewing has become very comfortable, and my teeth look like my own.
If I had known earlier that the problem was in my bite, I would have come much sooner.
Thank you to the doctors for not only making my teeth beautiful, but for truly solving a problem that had been bothering me for many years.
