How we replaced loose bridges with fixed teeth
Запит пацієнта
Client request: I want fixed teeth so I can chew normally and stop wearing a removable denture.
Problem: The old metal-ceramic bridges were loose, and the teeth underneath them were damaged and could not be treated. In the lower jaw, the chewing teeth were missing, and the patient was wearing a removable partial denture that she never managed to get used to.
Solution: We proposed full-mouth rehabilitation: All-on-4 implantation in the upper jaw and implantation in the lower jaw with zirconia implant-supported bridge prostheses. As a result, the patient received fixed teeth, a restored bite, and the ability to chew and speak normally again.

Comprehensive diagnostics
We performed full diagnostics: examination, photo protocol, digital scans, computed tomography, and bite analysis. After removing the old bridge prostheses, it turned out that the teeth underneath were severely damaged and could not be treated, so a decision was made to extract the teeth and place implants.
Removal of old bridges
The old bridge prostheses were removed. A decision was made to extract the damaged teeth and place implants, followed by the fabrication of fixed implant-supported bridge prostheses.
Digital treatment planning
Digital planning of the further treatment was performed, including implant positions, future tooth shape, and bite height. Based on this planning, a surgical guide was fabricated for precise implant placement.
Extraction, implantation, and temporary prostheses
The teeth were extracted and implants were placed in one procedure. On the same day, temporary fixed implant-supported bridge prostheses were placed. The patient left the clinic with fixed teeth.
Determining the correct jaw position
We determined the correct position of the lower jaw and fixed it in the temporary prostheses to restore the proper bite height and balance of the chewing muscles.
Placement of zirconia bridge prostheses and crowns
After the implants had fully integrated, the temporary restorations were replaced with permanent ones. A zirconia prosthesis on a titanium bar supported by 4 implants was placed in the upper jaw. Zirconia crowns and implant-supported bridge prostheses were placed in the lower jaw.

Patient testimonial

For many years, I had old bridges, but recently they became very loose. I had a removable denture in my lower jaw, and I never got used to it. It constantly bothered me, rubbed, and I could not eat normally.
When the old bridges were removed, I thought I would be left without teeth. But on the same day my teeth were extracted, implants were placed and temporary prostheses were fixed. It was incredible — I did not spend a single day without teeth.
Now I have zirconia teeth, I can eat normally, smile, and I have completely forgotten that I once wore a removable denture.
